San Diego, CA -- (SBWire) -- 04/11/2012 --Calfix, the calendaring platform that makes sharing events easy, announced the completion of its total-site redesign today. The newly revamped Calfix website features integration with Facebook, Google+, and Twitter, as well as the ability to upload events with photos and videos.

“Facebook Events allows users to post their social event listings, and Google Calendar offers a more personal online calendaring system. Calfix combines these platforms, allowing the user to see their friends’ calendars and create events that can be shared via social media platforms, as well as within the Calfix domain,” said Reid Jackson, founder of Calfix.

On a Calfix user’s profile, all personalized appointments and events appear within a shared calendar. Each user is able to see what other friends are doing and when, unless privacy settings are used to prevent it. Events created on Calfix can be rated, mapped, and commented upon.

“I found it frustrating that I would have social events calendared on Facebook, but have no way to see my other, more personal events simultaneously on a calendar-like interface. Moreover, my friends couldn’t see what I was up to, which made coordinating an outing for seven friends quite labor intensive,” added Jackson.

In addition to the added integrations, Calfix now showcases a crisper design with bold Navy blue coloring and an “event ticker” tied to the latest uploaded events. Since its launch in 2011, Calfix has acquired over 30,000 users.
