New Lamborghini Car at Geneva Was a True Postcard from the Edge

The solar system surrounding Lamborghini Car Hire just moved into another galaxy with the Aventador J showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. It offered a glimpse into what we can dream about for future supercar hire.

Northolt, Middlesex -- (SBWire) -- 04/18/2012 --All the news of late for those lovers of Lamborghini Hire centers on the Aventador J. Considering that this is a single unique Roadster, it would seem to be a lot of noise over a model that has already been sold. However, one only has to glimpse at the publicity shots from Geneva released by Lamborghini and you can understand why this is the focus of so much attention.

A worthy offspring of the Lamborghini Aventador, this is a work of art, more than just a car. The intention of the Aventador J was to connect the legendary and devastating performance of the Lamborghini Aventador with the most extreme rush of power and dynamics, in an adrenalin-fueled cocktail.

Followers of Lamborghini Car Hire were thrilled to see that the Aventador’s progeny was no longer just an artist’s impression, with the much-rendered car finally appearing in the rippling flesh, under an extremely taut skin at the Swiss celebration of motoring.

The line between exterior and interior of the car no longer exists. The driver’s experience is wholly new and novel, and seated ‘inside’ is no longer such a tangible concept as the taste of the elements is inherent. Neither roof nor windscreen form part of this roadster and a new driving experience is born.

The car is also no longer just the next iteration of its predecessor. For this exceptional instance, the expertise of Automobile Lamborghini was let loose to think as radically and out of the box as possible. As a result, the concept of ‘carbon skin’ flows throughout the supercar.

The engineers at Sant’ Agata Bolognese deployed their knowledge of carbon fibre reinforced polymers to craft not only the monocoque but also the two seats. These are fashioned from ‘Forged Composite’ with inserts of flexible carbon fibre fabrics. This further demonstrates the ability of this car to blur the distinction between what is inside and what is outside the car.

Whilst this may be a one-off car, one can be sure that the radical design concepts which have seen the light of day through this spectacular car will quite possibly find their way into other supercars, and perhaps even production road cars at some time in the future.

This may even be Lamborghini’s way of ‘testing the market’ with more than just a concept car, but an actual evolution of a real car. Who knows what we will see at Geneva 2013?

The future direction of Super Car Hire may have shifted on its axis but for us mere mortals the best way to get a taste of the Lamborghini Aventador is through a self-drive hire.
