Atlanta, GA -- (SBWire) -- 12/23/2014 --Ammo.net, America's foremost pro-liberty provider of ammunition, is one retailer that believes in backing words with action. It is Ammo.net's policy to donate 1% of all sales to a pro-freedom organization of the customer's choice. Customers choose from a list of 21 non-profits, charities, think tanks and advocacy groups such as the National Rifle Association (NRA), Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and the CATO Institute, or may include an organization of their choosing. In November, 2014 alone, Ammo.net, on behalf of its customers, donated $594.32 to various pro-liberty groups. $119.91 went to the NRA, $113.15 to Homes for Our Troops, $251.72 to the SAF and $109.54 to Building for America's Bravest, an initiative committed to providing individually designed smart homes for catastrophically disabled veterans to restore their dignity and independence.

We are particularly pleased with November's donation from Ammo.net to Building for America's Bravest, the newest organization on the list of those we support. Building for America's Bravest was founded for the purpose of raising money to construct custom engineered homes, each one individually adaped to accommodate the needs of a catastrophically handicapped American service veteran."

Jacobs goes on to say, "Ammo.net is honored to participate in helping provide support for those brave service men and women who fought to protect our freedoms and who are now in need of our help." Building for America's Bravest was founded by the brother of one of the firefighters who gave his life to rescue others on 9/11. The organization currently maintains a lengthy list of veterans waiting for houses.

To fund the donations, Ammo.net stocks, sells and ships all popular calibers and brands of ammunition such as rimfire, shotgun, rifle and handgun.
