Toronto, ON -- (SBWire) -- 01/16/2015 --Vaping, charging and refilling are pretty much the basics. However, there are some of you who are unsure or who try to Macgyver your product into either working again or putting out more power. For that reason we thought it necessary to give you the lowdown on the things you absolutely should not be doing.

1.Avoid leaving your ecigarette loosely in your pocket. This goes for both traditional ecigarettes and eGo/eVod models.

We know it might be tempting to leave your ecigarette in your pocket. If you are using a case, by all means, leave it. However if are like some who find it more convenient to carry it close to you at all times, we would highly advise you don't. For one reason being; if you are using the ego style models your tank can leak when left on its side which means nicotine soaked pants and nicotine on your skin! Also, if you forget to turn your eGo battery off you can accidentally press the trigger button which means your battery can be over heating!

With the traditional model ecigarette, lint and bacteria can get into your mouth piece which then can be passed to your mouth. If you are using eliquid to refill your cartridges, leaving it in your pants can cause it to leak on you. Also, if you forget your ecigarette is in your pocket you can accidentally wash it!

2. Don't try to dismantle your ecigarette battery. There can be times where you think its easier for you to find the solution to why your battery is not working (which we are not saying it's not true) however, its best you let us know first before you start pulling out wires and voiding your warranty. (For more information on warranty and returns click here)

3.Do not refill your ecigarette in your pocket, tank or atomizer with eliquid while still screwed into your battery. Yes, we know it might be more convenient to leave the two together while refilling, but trust us, its more of a headache then not. Leaving the two together while refilling with eliquid is a messy process and can cause the juice to get into your battery threading and connection. Over time, or instantly, eliquid will corrode, short your battery and void your warranty.

4. Avoid over charging or dropping your ecigarette battery. This is really a no-brainer. Leaving any lithium ion based battery on the charger for too long will cause it to short, or in some rare cases, can start a fire. That goes the same for dropping it, (minus the fire part).

5. Do not try to use other companies charging (USB) products with any products sold on ecigcanadazone.com. We know there are many of you out there who like to experiment with different brands, that's ok, however try to keep your ducks in a row when it comes down to what goes where. Charging devices are the one thing that cannot be interchanged with one another even when an adapter is used. The charger simply will not work which means your battery will not get charged.
