Magazine (boomnc.com), a monthly publication dedicated to the active lifestyle of those 45 and older, announces today the launch of its inaugural Boom! Blast Expo. Taking place on April 14, 2011 at the Fletcher Auditorium of the Progress Energy Center, the expo will bring area vendors together with one of the nation’s largest consumer audiences – baby boomers.
“Boomers play an integral part in the Triangle economy, and we wanted to create an opportunity to showcase area businesses that cater to their needs,” says Petty. “The expo is going to be a fun-filled evening for all who come out.”

Complementing Boom! Magazine’s layout, vendor exhibits will be divided into three categories:
Live Smart – financial businesses, banks, financial planners, mortgage and insurance companies, etc.
Live Well – health and wellness experts, doctors, clinics, specialty practices, massage therapists, acupuncturists, etc.
Live Large – wine merchants, restaurants, travel agents, performing arts groups, independent living communities, book retailers, music stores, etc.
Tickets will go on sale March 1. Guests can receive a special $15 rate if they purchase at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts ticket office, 2 East South Street, Raleigh, N.C.
