Samuel Soria Is Appearing in Concert with Special Guests Suzanne Waters, Soprano, and Paul Baker, Harp

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 04/21/2015 --On Sunday, May 3rd at 4:00 pm, award-winning Cathedral organist, Samuel Soria will be performing the music of Louis Vierne, Leo Sowerby, Eric De Lamarter, and will feature Louie White's rarely performed cantata, "This Son So Young" with Suzanne Waters, soprano and Paul Baker, harp - guaranteed to inspire listeners and highlight the brilliant sound of the 105-stop Dobson Organ (Opus 75).

The forty-two ton pipe organ of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels contains with one hundred and five stops and a total of six thousand nineteen pipes, includes vintage pipes from the organ in the Cathedral of St. Vibiana. According to one authority, it is the 89th largest pipe organ in North America and the 143rd largest in the world.

Samuel Soria has served as organist of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles since its dedication in 2002. He has recorded two compact discs for classical label Delos International and enjoys an active recital schedule.

Mr. Soria, known for his skill at improvisation, will include an improvisation on a theme as part of the recital.

The concert will be held on Sunday May 3, 2015 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, located at 555 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
