Sep 2017 Specialty chemical company DIC has announced plans to expand the production capacity for polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) compounds at its Komaki Plant in Japan's Aichi Prefecture. With an investment of about JPY800m ($7.2m), the company plans to expand the capacity annually to 3,500mt. New equipment at the plant is set to start operating in September next year.
