Manchester, England -- (SBWire) -- 10/09/2015 --Local Refurbishment Contractor, Sustainability Inc, has begun the refurbishment of Two Cornwall Street for long term client, Bruntwood, as part of their continued portfolio expansion into Birmingham.
Having recently completed the refurbishment of Capital & Centric's Tempest Building in Liverpool, valued at £4M, the upcoming works will see an impressive leap in project size, with the Birmingham works valued at £11.5M.
In Bruntwoods most ambitious project to date the building will undergo an extensive modernisation throughout, with new build extensions across the site filling in the gaps of the existing layout to see the building raise up to five floors in places.
As well as this, new floor-to-ceiling envelope glazing will offer panoramic views across Birmingham's City Centre. Other amenities will include private basement car parking, a double-height reception area and a rooftop terrace.
The completed refurbishment will see a huge increase in its current square footage to a total of 110,000 square foot of much needed grade A office space in the heart of Birmingham's Colmore district.
