Matawan, NJ -- (SBWire) -- 08/28/2014 --Can origami fly? Or a paper airplane glide through the air for minutes at a time? Thanks to the Whoopr they can now. The Whoopr can fly with a standard 2.4 GHz radio controller or smartphone controlled device. The 2.4 GHz/ radio controller gives consumers a longer range, protection from interference by other radio devices, long battery life while being very responsive to every movement. This is a paper airplane that both children and adults can have enjoy.

The Whoopr has a full range of motion thanks to flexible steering. Anyone can easily turn the plane right or left, have it climb or descend and even fly around and around in a 360 degree circle. The receiver module on the paper airplane is equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and the 2.4 GHz. radio controller requires six AA batteries.

How does the Whoopr transform a paper airplane in a radio-controlled plane? The “pilot” simply folds their paper airplane then attaches the Whoopr airframe to it. The airframe body is made from a high quality nylon material that's lightweight yet durable allowing any airworthy paper airplane to stay in the air much, much longer than the old fashioned paper airplanes we all know with the added fun of flying a paper airplane by remote control.

With full-functional prototypes of the Whooper perfected, Toys Tekk is ready for mass production to build sufficient inventory to accommodate the upcoming holiday shopping season.

This crowdfunding project will end on September 20th, 2014.
