St. Louis, MO -- (SBWire) -- 01/02/2018 --This November, various locations of ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists recognized their veteran associates.
Many ImageFIRST locations employ veteran associates. To thank them and recognize their service, ImageFIRST hosted celebratory events at their Corporate, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and North Carolina locations. The locations held lunches and dinners, gave out gift bags, and provided the veterans with specially-designed sweatshirts.
The LA team, in particular, created shadowboxes for their four veterans that they presented with a custom sweatshirt during a special lunch that featured all of their favorite foods.
A few other locations held additional and unique celebrations for their veteran associates throughout the month. The team at ImageFIRST Dallas gave red, white, and blue bags of popcorn to each associate and posted a framed list of all associates whose family members had served. Meanwhile, the Chicago team played patriotic games and the North Carolina team held a special Veterans Day breakfast for all associates.
The Corporate Office invited a veteran, who currently serves as a police officer, to speak about his experience in the U.S. Marines. During the event, snacks were provided, associates were able to ask questions and all audience members viewed an informational slideshow. At the conclusion of the event, the office served snacks and sweets, and the presenter and the office's veteran associate were presented with their sweatshirts.
