Adeptia extends its Cloud Capabilities
Cloud computing and Software as a Service (SaaS) are two new, but related, approaches that provide additional options and flexibility to customers of enterprise software.
With v5.0, Adeptia has now extended its capabilities in both these areas:
• Cloud Deployment: All Adeptia products are now available for cloud deployment. Customers who do not desire to purchase new hardware, or software or take on additional maintenance responsibilities can have Adeptia deploy its product in the cloud. The client solution can be implemented by the customer or by Adeptia and then Adeptia takes on the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of the whole solution. This significantly reduces the complexity for the customer and allows the business owners to focus on getting a turn-key solution that solves a business problem.
• SaaS Pricing: Adeptia now offers more flexibility with its subscription pricing model. This reduces the up front costs and risks for the customers.
• Amazon Cloud Platform: Adeptia has partnered with Amazon to offer its industry-leading Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) as the platform for hosting and deployment of Adeptia Suite. A number of options are available for various instance sizes to meet a wide-range of performance or scalability requirements.
• Easy to Try: Adeptia can easily make a cloud based system available for trial so customers can feel comfortable about this new approach before they make a final decision to proceed.
