Along with Dr. Alexis M. LaPietra, DO, FACEP, Medical Director of Emergency Department Pain Management at St. Joseph's, the two clinicians have created and are the first in the US to launch the ALTO program--a unique approach to pain management without opioids They have presented across the country on the impact of their program to turn the tide against opioid addiction and overdose. Currently, Dr. Rosenberg is a Board Member and Secretary-Treasurer for the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and a Board Member and Secretary-Treasurer of the Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF). Dr. Rosenberg has created many new and successful innovations such as an Emergency Department Palliative Care program called LSMA (Life Sustaining Management and Alternatives) and is principal author of the Geriatric Emergency Department Guidelines and the Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation Program. He has written many articles and chapters on Emergency Department innovations and other topics and has lectured internationally.
