EScIS Announce an Easy Way to Manage Environmental Standards with Environmental Database Software

Byron Bay, Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/19/2018 -- EScIS (Earth Science Information Systems) manage an online library of compiled environmental standards and guidelines for their ESdat environmental data management software. The ESdat software is already pre-loaded with most regulatory standards and guidelines and can query the online library. ESdat administrators can easily import new environmental standards into their system as they become available or updated. Standards are quickly and easily added by checking a box next to the relevant standard and clicking Import.

Alternatively, it's possible to develop an independent set of specific environmental standards for a project where exceedances are automatically flagged for attention. Automatic flagging allows for the rapid identification of potential problem areas on a project by comparing the environmental data against these environmental standards. Environmental standards and exceedances can be shown and flagged on all the ESdat outputs, including chemistry output tables, graphs, and maps.

ESdat is an environmental data management system, which provides an electronic data trail for all field, laboratory and historical monitoring data. ESdat makes it easy to import, track, manage and interrogate air, water and soil information for multiple sites, and multiple projects. Used by environmental consultants, government departments, mining and energy companies, airports, and landfill operators (to name but a few), ESdat is a powerful way to control and use environmental monitoring data. It simplifies the input of data from multiple sources and uses a range of validation processes to ensure that data is accurate, up to date and consistent.

Data is imported into the ESdat database from tablets, PDAs, laboratory reports, data loggers, field notes, or historical data held either as handwritten notes or Excel spreadsheet records. ESdat makes it easier to import this data, through the use of a range of proforma import templates, or with customised import templates.
