Greenbelt, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/03/2018 -- Reverend Robin Smiley lead a cast of exceptional speakers discussing how to build and maintain lifelong relationships that enhance life while bringing individuals closer to God. One main point discussed focused on understanding the significance of clear intentions. Rev. Smiley lead a panel of thought-provoking, Christian super-stars discussing how vital clear intentions are from the onset of a relationship to ensure that it grows into a powerful, lasting one. At the core of these discussions rested the significance of God as the foundation for any lasting relationship. However, there was a clear focus on acknowledging personal accountability to ensure individuals grow together through understanding a relationship's clear intentions as a means to help avoid miscommunication or unhealthy outcomes. Rev. Smiley shared years of experience as a lifelong Christian as she infused the conference with her experience as a leader of the Real Women of the DMV and co-founder of Women Biblically Empowered for Excellence in Marriage (WBEEM), a ministry that teaches women how to be the excellent wife that God has ordained.

Rev. Smiley points out that "when both people understand the goal of a relationship, it sets the pathway for a strong, lasting one. It's when we hide intentions or mislead others that relationships suffer and ultimately fail."

The conference built off the Real Women of the DMV's mission to provide relationship advice to adults. Their work goes beyond simple solutions to daily difficulties and provides practical, faith-based resolutions for a variety of issues that arise in all types of relationships. Working with those we cherish, people God has placed in our lives, is vital for not only success, but for building relationships with friends, family, and people we meet along the way," Rev. The event began at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Greenbelt Marriott, 6400 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt, Maryland with lunch provided. The conference ran until 4:00PM and included several prominent individuals: co-host Shaun Bailey, Willie & Patricia Moore, Jr. as keynote speakers, Dr. Rita Bailey-Roland, Pastors Todd & Ingrid Pickett, Connie Gilmore (Founder of Premature Widow), Psalmist Larry Vaughn, and DJ Tommy Stylez.
