The new satellite offices are Hockley, Conroe, Dickinson, Texas, Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, and Henderson, Colorado. SCI SUpply is based in Logansville, GA.

"We took a look at the places where disasters happen, the supply chain and how long it takes to respond," said company owner Ty Robinson. "We looked for places that are underserved by disaster relief companies. Then, we picked regional or geographic centers. The locations we chose fit our business expansion model and serve a very real need for those areas."

When communities in the West begin flood recovery efforts, they learn getting the needed equipment and trained professionals to do the work is not easy. Mr. Robinson said the Loganville office always expects huge demands for help any time flooding occurs out there.

"When people in Colorado, Texas or Oklahoma are calling Georgia asking for help, you know they are desperate. You know they do not have local resources to use," he said. "That is why we have expanded. The need is there. We are stepping in to fill a need."

SCI Supply specializes in water damage restoration equipment and advice to recover from such a disaster. This includes mold and odor removal, document cleaning and restoration and moisture control.

"We built this business in Georgia around helping people recover from floods, whether natural or accidental.
