Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 11/05/2018 --On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, Chorus Communications, Philadelphia's leading technology consulting firm, joined with the telecommunications industry's most prominent and influential figures for an unforgettable evening of networking, awards, entertainment, and delicious Philadelphia food specials.

The night kicked off at The Liberty View at the Independence Visitors Center in Philadelphia's Historic District where guests indulged in cocktails, Philadelphia themed hors-d'oeuvres, live entertainment, and breathtaking views from the venue's all-new outdoor terrace.

Prior to the event's award ceremony, channel partner executives and Philadelphia data recovery service providers alike met up with Jaymie Scotto Cutaia, the Founder & CEO of Jaymie Scotto & Associates, in the Chorus Lounge where interview segments for JSA TV were filmed. Interviewees provided Ms. Scotto with overviews of their unique channel partner programs, what makes them successful, as well as any new and important updates.

Another huge focus at this year's Chorus Carriers Ball, which is also held every year during the Channel Partners Evolution Conference & Expo, was on women in technology. Technology is a field where women are highly underrepresented—but not at the 2018 Carriers Ball. The entire event was orchestrated by Chorus Communications' very own Buffy Harakidas, most of the award presenters were also female, and two women took home awards for Best Channel Partner (Maureen O'Connell) and Best Client Retentions/Support Personnel (Stacy Armstrong).

The evening wrapped up with star-studded performances and an appearance by hip-hop legend and pioneer, Grandmaster Flash, Philadelphia's own MUMMERS, the South Philadelphia String Band, and city icons Rocky Balboa and Ben Franklin.

The 2018 Carriers Ball was an enormous success, and Chorus Communications is looking forward to seeing new and returning data recovery companies from Philadelphia and across the country join them next September in Washington D.C. for the 2019 Carriers Ball.
