An off-Road Tradition Returns in 2019

Ouray, CO -- (SBWire) -- 02/07/2019 --Jeep jamborees have remained a longtime tradition that's been around since the start of the 1950s when pioneer Mark A. Smith decided to explore the Sierra Nevada Mountains via the Rubicon Trail. After Jeep manufacturer Willys Motors signed on, the jamboree has retained a loyal fanbase.

The 2019 Jeep Jamboree is making a triumphant return to Ouray, Colorado! The jamboree will wind through the towering heights of the San Juan Mountains including the intriguingly historic ghost towns and the formidable Imogene Pass which remains one of the highest driveable passes in the United States of America.

The Ouray Jeep Jamboree isn't starting until September 12th through the 14th but it is never too early to prepare. If the jamboree seems too daunting, Ouray, Colorado has off-road vehicles available for rent that can be used to explore the trails.
