Collaborative Practice San Diego is pleased to announce the new Board of Directors

San Diego, CA -- (SBWire) -- 03/14/2019 --"I was honored to serve as President for Collaborative Practice San Diego during the 2018 term.Members of this group are caring professionals, eager to work together and facilitate the divorce process as amicably as possible for our clients, this is especially important when children are involved," according to Lynn Waldman, Past President.

The new Board members are:

Meredith Lewis, Attorney - President
Shawn Skillin, Attorney - President-Elect
Leslie Ryland, Attorney - Secretary
Ginita Wall, CDFA - Treasurer
Tina Mears, LMFT - Member-at-Large
Connie Walsh, CDFA - Member-at-Large
Lynn Waldman, LCSW - Past President

As Past- President, Waldman will bring her experience to the Board with a focus on meeting the needs of members and the community at large.

"Last year, the Collaborative Board's motto was, "Make it Mainstream" and our focus was educating the public about the advantages of a family-centered, non-litigated divorce," Waldman said.

Collaborative Practice San Diego is a non-profit work group consisting of Family Law Attorneys, Certified Divorce Financial Analysts and,Licensed Mental Health Professionals who serve as Divorce Coaches and as Child Specialists. These professionals work to meet the needs of families on every level as they transition through an inherently difficult process.

All professional members of the Collaborative group have taken the necessary training and met stringent experience requirements in order to qualify as Collaborative Professionals.

"Many members of Collaborative have had experience in difficult, protracted high-conflict and expensive litigated cases and seen the devastation done to families emotionally, legally and, financially. They have experienced that there are no, "winners" in divorce and have made the shift to the Collaborative model.
