San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR) has appointed its committee members for the upcoming year. Mr. Howell will join the Builder Committee and Governmental Affairs Committee for 2012.

Helotes, TX -- (SBWire) -- 12/06/2011 --Mr. Dave Howell, M.S. of Clover Properties, LLC based in San Antonio, Texas will become a memeber of both the board's Governmental Affairs and Builder committees for 2012.

Dave brings a legacy of leadership to the committees ranging from leading non profits, small businesses, and as part of the Greater San Antonio Builders Association. Dave has served as president of the Lions Club, an American Heart Association Chapter, local homeowner associations, insurance organizations, and military organizations in the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area.

Mr. Howell brings leadership skills to both committees, having served the Chamber of Commerce on the education, military and legislative committes, as well as, the Texas Business Council. He has testified by invitation of the Texas Legislature on an assortment of consumer and business related issues.

Locally, Mr. Howell has been a civic advocate for green improvement projects, tree preservation, and energy saving building techniques. He's had the opportunity to showcase these quality initiatives for San Antonio through presentations to the American Society of Quality (ASQ), the Texas Gas Producers Association, and his local Board of Realtors (SABOR).

Mr. Howell's leadership includes serving on a number of regional and nationl board of directors, as well as, leading Texas insurance organizations. He has traveled to Washington D.C. to lobby the United States Congress on several occasions on behalf of business and consumers.
