Fort Worth Painters Featured in Episode of Curb Appeal

Dalton Tomlinson of Supreme Painting, painting contractors in Fort Worth, TX, tells of his company’s participation in an episode of HGTV’s Curb Appeal.

Fort Worth, TX -- (SBWire) -- 01/31/2012 --Dalton Tomlinson says there has been a lot of excitement around his place of business, lately. It seems that his company, Supreme Painting, was selected to do one of the makeovers on a recent edition of the HGTV hit series, Curb Appeal.

Curb Appeal is a series that features John Gidding and his team. They come into a neighborhood and select 3 or 4 houses for a facelift. The premise of the show is that when one or two houses on a block get fixed up, the owners of the other houses become inspired, and fix up their places, too. In this case, the houses were in a cul-de-sac neighborhood in Euless, TX. Of all the painters in Fort Worth, TX, Tomlinson says that Supreme Painting got to paint the Pace family house. His crews were happy to participate – this sort of opportunity doesn’t come along very often.

The Pace family is one of four families that received the Curb Appeal makeover. They have a small child who will be in a wheelchair, soon, and the family needed a ramp. John Gidding and his crew installed a beautiful flagstone ramp that is a lovely landscaping feature, too. Tomlinson is excited that his company got to contribute to such a good cause. All four makeovers were great, and the neighborhood is thrilled with the results.

HELPFUL NEIGHBORS

Three of the Pace’s neighbors entered a contest on the Rachel Ray Show, and the prize was a neighborhood makeover for 4 houses. When they won, they couldn’t have been more thrilled. When told they needed to recommend one more house for a makeover, they recommended their neighbors, the Paces. This is when the Fort Worth painters, Supreme Painting, were called in to participate. Tomlinson says his crews were more than willing to dive in to the work, producing marvelous results and participating in the neighborhood makeover.

The three friends of the Pace’s, Amanda Kelsoe, Amy Warren, and Hollee Ford, teamed up to make a video to convince the Rachael Ray Show to choose them for the makeover. Warren was the instigator, talking her friends into participating. The results have brought new paint jobs, brick lined sidewalks, and a brick mailbox to each house in the neighborhood. Each of the 4 homes also received customized yards. The Ford’s yard is on an incline, and is where the neighborhood kids wait for the school bus. That yard got raised planting beds to level it, and a bench for the kids. The other 3 houses also got fitting landscaping.
