Mumbai, Maharashtra -- (SBWire) -- 05/14/2012 --For the first time, an Indian company has launched a Luxury Single Malt Scotch Whiskey at a global platform. ‘Seven Islands Vintage’, a brand created exclusively for Tilaknagar Industries Ltd (TI) and meticulously designed by Ryan50 Scotland Ltd, UK, in strategic association with the BenRiach Distillerywas launched last week in London.

The launch, attended by whiskey connoisseurs, high profile guests and dignitaries from UK, Europe and India, included Kulveer Ranger, Mayor of London’s Director of Environment and Digital London, Sheetal Mafatlal, Chairperson, Mafatlal Luxury, Suhel Seth, adman and columnist and C. Rajasekhar, Minister – Political, High Commission of India – London, among others.

Seven Islands Vintage will be retailed at a price of GBP 100 (one hundred Great Britain Pounds) and first rolled out in in UK. It will be followed by launches in Italy, France and India.

Seven Islands Vintage, distilled in the heart of Speyside, is a beverage that is mystical in origin and eclectic in spirit. This luxury whisky has a rich golden colour with notes of butterscotch, honey and vanilla, mingled with a delicate hint of spices and a faint trace of apples and pears.

The whisky comes packaged in a beautiful clear glass decanter that is a sophisticated art deco inspired style. The brand, meanwhile, represents the vibrancy of India. It takes its name from the seven islands that today make up Mumbai and is inspired by the art, architecture, colour and fabrics of India.
