According to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania the plaintiff alleges on behalf of purchasers of Orrstown Financial Services (NASDAQ:ORRF) that defendants violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Securities Act of 1933. Furthermore, Orrstown Financial Services disclosed that it had $9.4 million in charge-offs for the third quarter of 2011, and that the Company faced "decreases in asset quality ratios, including elevated levels of nonaccrual loans, restructured loans and delinquencies."
Orrstown Financial Services’ Net Income of $16.58million for 2010 turned into a Net Loss of $31.96million in 2011.
