Fund the design and publicity efforts behind a proven author's collection of new and previously-published horror and dark science fiction.

Augusta, GA -- (SBWire) -- 12/04/2013 --“Queen & Other Stories” has been several years in the making. It's a novel-length collection of Lincoln Crisler’s horror and dark science fiction work and includes selections from his two previous small-press short story collections (2008's Despairs & Delights and 2009's Magick & Misery), pieces that made their debut in various anthologies, a handful of no longer available Amazon shorts and, of course, some brand new work unique to this collection.

Lincoln Crisler writes about unreal things (superheroes, zombies, killers with supernatural powers…you get the idea) in as realistic a manner as he can. He has been doing it since 2006, though he’s been writing all his life. Lincoln’s most recent short story publications are in anthologies from IDW Publishing, Angelic Knight Press, Black Bed Sheet Books, Kalamity Press and James Ward Kirk Publishing.

All money collected from this campaign will be used for

- Cover art--and backers will see the finished work before the book's launch.
- Promotional efforts—Lincoln is hiring a professional publicist to work with him on the launch.
- Copies of the book--to fulfill campaign perks, for reviewers and to have on hand at local signings and professional conventions attended by people from all over the world.
- If he makes more than his goal, Lincoln will roll the money over into convention expenses, some really cool perks at his next local signing, and/or his next self-publishing effort.
