Battle Creek, MI -- (SBWire) -- 12/04/2013 --Buy local can apply to book shopping for visitors to the Winter Holiday Festival on December 13th and 14th in Augusta, Michigan. Author Tracy Falbe will have ten of her titles on display for shoppers with book lovers on their gift lists.

Falbe lives in Battle Creek, a city eight miles east of Augusta.

“I’m looking forward to meeting readers in my community. I’m a big supporter of the buy local philosophy. I source most of my meat, fruit, and vegetables locally and want to show people that they have some locally produced entertainment options, including books,” Falbe said.

She earns most of her living selling ebooks online all over the world, but her booth will have paperbacks and select hardcovers for sale. Eight of her novels are epic fantasies. Her newest release is a historical paranormal romance. She also recently published a cookbook based on her late grandmother’s vintage recipes that she found in an old handwritten notebook from the 1920s.

The Winter Holiday Festival at the Olde World Village starts on Friday evening at 4 p.m. on December 13th and closes at 8 p.m. Then it runs all day Saturday the 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children under 12 can come in for free and admission is $10 for all others. Visitors can meet with Santa, shop the holiday merchandise vendors, participate in activities for kids or adults, take wagon rides, warm up with hot food and beverages, and listen to carolers. The Olde World Village is located at 13215 M-96 Augusta, Michigan. The village is a wooded 35-acre outdoor entertainment venue that runs several events throughout the year.

Falbe has personally enjoyed the venue as a visitor when she took her family there in July for the popular BlackRock Medieval Fest.
