The Art of Peace Gains Momentum with Hollywood and the Los Angeles Community Reloading Life Foundation and Bullets 4 Peace Educate Our Youth

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 12/04/2013 --Many well known names in the Los Angeles community gathered at The Art of Peace Gala, Thursday night, to launch the Reloading Life Foundation, an educational outlet, helping our youth and communities understand the effects of gun violence. The evening was filled with musical entertainment, engaging speakers, as well as the presentation of the coveted Eagle of Peace Awards to a few extraordinary individuals.

The Eagle of Peace Award is a Humanitarian award, recognizing one’s charitable efforts of bringing peace and love to the world. Rafi Anteby, founder of Bullets 4 Peace and Reloading Life, along with members of the founding host committee, brought attention to recipients of the award - Liel Kolet, International vocalist whose voice sends the message of peace and harmony, to multiple faiths and cultures, sharing a positive perspective; Trish Steele, founder of Safe Passage Foundation, that is committed to ending domestic violence and oppression in women's lives; Pauley Perrette, though known for her role as Abby on NCIS, she is better known for her charitable contributions to over 30 charities, continuing to offer her heart and commitment to others without question and Snoop Lion, whose aggressive Anti-Gun Violence campaign is making a difference in the lives of youth across America.

“Each day the news is saturated with stories of violence, death and tragedy. Many of these stories sadly involve our youth, and more often than not, involve the illegal use of firearms.” Anteby states, stressing the importance of the message Reloading Life Foundation. “We have a responsibility to the next generation to teach peace and how to live in harmony. This is not done with rhetoric, but rather with action.

Performers who came to support the night included; Chuck Negron, formally of Three Dog Night, who began the message of the evening with Joy to the World. Grammy nominated country music star Laura Bryna performed her songs Hometown Heroes and The House I Live In. Michael Bearden, the Music Director for the late Michael Jackson, who brought a special performance of Man in the Mirror to the stage and Cali Swag District, who taught the audience How to Dougie and told the story of founding member, M Bone, who tragically lost his life to gun violence. In addition, for the first time in history, a duet was performed by Ebi Hamedi, Legendary Iranian Singer and Liel Kolet , Israeli Peace Singer, stunning the audience.

Hosts Lisa Guererro, Inside Edition’s Chief Correspondent Investigator and funny man Chris Spencer kept everyone’s attention with sweet and memorable words, along with staggering statistics. They shared the stage with presenters and speakers, Sam Trammell of True Blood, Dorian Gregory of Charmed and Kelly LeBrock of Weird Science.

Many additional Hollywood and community leaders joined the night including: Max Ryan, Sex & the City 2, Danay Garcia, Prison Break, Jamie Gray Hyder, True Blood, Lesley Nicol, Downtwon Abbey, Arthur Renowitzky, founder of Life Goes On Project, LAPD Officer Stinson Brown, Christina Fulton, Anti Bullying Activist and Vocalist, and Mason Burroughs, Judge Alex Court TV Show, to name a few.

The evening had promised stellar entertainment and memories filled with love and compassion to its audience and it truly lived up to any expectation.
