Mothers Against Drunk Driving Seeks Funding Support via Indiegogo to Spread Awareness with Their 30 Second Commercial
10,322 people were killed by drunk driving last year. This campaign is to help Mothers Against Drunk Driving save lives.
Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 12/30/2013 --28 people are killed everyday by drunk driving. Everyday, 28 families lose someone special, someone beautiful. Mothers Against Drunk Driving is looking to make a tangible difference by showing two alternate realities- the beauty of life, and how easily a drunk driver could take it all away.
Founded by a mother who lost her daughter to drunk driving, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the nation’s largest non-profit working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. They have already saved almost 30,000 lives. However, their aims are much higher.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving is making a 30 second commercial to raise awareness about the beauty of life, contrasted with the lethal reality of drunk driving. Distribution will include national television and online outlets for maximum exposure and impact. This is an entirely community funded, non profit project. All cast and crew are donating their time. Every dollar raised from Indiegogo will be spent on camera, lighting, and feeding the crew.
This campaign will receive all funds raised even if it does not reach its goal of $2,000. Funding duration: December 02, 2013 - January 06, 2014 (11:59pm PT).
