Mother and Daughter Duo Eva and Zelina Tatum Seek Funding via Kickstarter to Make the Film 'DON'T BE a CHICKEN!'

Through their upcoming film venture ‘Don’t be a Chicken!’, Eva and Zelina Tatum want to share what they have learned from their travels.

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 01/14/2014 --Eva Tatum is the single mom to an amazing young woman, Zelina. A year ago, Eva looked at her life and realized that she was such a chicken. Afraid to take any risks, and afraid of challenges. Living in fear of change and the insecurity of the unknown. She wasn't living any of her dreams, and she wasn't satisfied with the example she was setting for Zelina.

Last year, Eva created a chicken suit, packed up Zelina and all her fears, and traveled through Europe and Mexico. They offer Free Hugs as a way to connect with others and inspire courage, in addition to pushing herself way outside of her comfort zone. The experience of traveling and meeting new people, has made Eva a better person and a better example for her daughter, who has been blossoming to an amazing person during their travels. Both Eva and Zelina are living life with more purpose, and are so excited to do this project together.

Through the lens of a Mother and daughter confronting their own fears and insecurities as they journey together, traveling and connecting with others, this film will be a look at the process of finding and harnessing one's own power. What does it take to live a dream? In this film Eva and Zelina will document inspirational stories of people around the world, sharing with us what the human spirit is capable of doing, despite of all odds or difficulties.

The more funds they raise, the better they can make this film. Right now, Eva and Zelina have their sights set on traveling in California and then abroad to capture stories of all cultures. Reaching their goal on Kickstarter will continue making the project a reality.

This project will only be funded if at least $46,000 is pledged by Sunday Feb 9, 12:34pm EST.
