Gripping Novel Takes Readers on Epic Journey to Unlock 2,000 Year Old Mystery
Written by Errol Cohen, ‘Repairing the World’ is an upcoming book that follows two ancient organizations, both searching for age-old scrolls and treasures, including an amulet, which offers a tantalizing glimpse at untold scientific data. Cohen introduces multifaceted, richly-drawn characters, complex plots and puts his own research at the forefront in this dazzling novel that is sure to please fans of Dan Brown and Robert Ludlum.
Atlanta, GA -- (SBWire) -- 01/15/2014 --A sadistic duo that controls a brotherhood. A cadre of ‘Robber Barons’. Three college students and a brilliant, widowed father with a talent for quantum physics. A Liberal Priest and a pair of retired Israeli ex- Commandos. A husband and wife professor team and a strong woman President.
What do these characters have in common?
They are all caught in the web of violence, competition, International sabotage and political subterfuge that feature in Errol Cohen’s electrifying new novel, ‘Repairing the World’.
As two organizations vie desperately for ancient scrolls that promise to change the world, a mega volcano threatens eruption, extremists plant dirty bombs, and the interlocking plots come together with explosive, exciting results.
As Cohen explains, his novel is a classic battle between good and evil that despite being slightly more dramatic than everyday life, resonates with today’s worldwide political and social environments.
“There can never be total victory – on this planet, I believe that we will always have conflict,” says Cohen. “But it’s how we handle it that matters, and how we come together to fix what is broken. One recurring question that I often ask myself is – how do we solve problems that are too complex, or too large?”
Continuing: “While I wrote ‘Repairing the World’, I came to realize that activity is always better than inactivity. If you have the chance to save a life, don’t fret about the hundreds of other lives you couldn’t save. It’s interesting to watch as my characters struggle with these moral dilemmas and of course, it provides great points of discussion for the reader!”
Fans of Dan Brown will appreciate the intricacies of Cohen’s storylines and the meticulous research he carried out, as the novel cuts across the earth, from waterways in Jerusalem, ancient tombs in France, to the White House and beyond.
“When this book was edited by the past Editor and Owner of the Washington Business Journal, she commented on the compelling plot and the vast archaic knowledge. It’s true that I have been researching and taking notes for twenty years, waiting for the chance to write this book,” says the author.
Continuing: “I have been a past facilitator of Corpus Hermecticum, a past Master Mason, a twenty five year student of Kabbalah and a student of new findings which clarify ancient history. Not to mention, I have written business plans for corporations and venture capital firms. This background has helped me immeasurably in the writing of ‘Repairing the World’, as I’ve been able to give the novel a depth of detail not often found in stories today.”
‘Repairing the World’ will be released soon.
