"The Fortunate Nomad" Is Author Liam Klenk's Newest Project

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWire) -- 02/03/2014 --Liam Klenk, an inspirational author, recently announced his decision to begin writing his memoir, “The Fortunate Nomad.” The 16-chapter book, described as “an painfully honest, emotional journey,” is a written account of Klenk’s challenges, travels, and developments.

“My memoir is straight from the heart,” said Klenk. “It will make you laugh, will make you cry, and—hopefully most of all—it will brighten your?days with adventures spanning two bodies, eight countries, 10 professions, countless ?challenges, not to mention countless comical encounters and developments along?life’s meandering, rocky paths. I hope to be able to give something back, to inspire, and empower my readers.”

According to the “The Fortunate Nomad’s” Indiegogo page, Klenk has been planning this project for the past 15 years. Because “The Fortunate Nomad” is not just another memoir, Klenk quit his job in October 2013 and relocated to a studio on a quiet island so that he could fully dedicate himself to his project. The first draft of Klenk’s memoir is due to be completed in mid-February and his first manuscript by the end of April 2014. A small publishing house in Australia is willing to publish Klenk’s book in hardcover, softcover, and eBook formats.

At this time, Klenk is accepting donations from people interested in supporting “The Fortunate Nomad” project. His goal is to raise $30,000 by March 3, 2014. The funds will go towards a number of expenses such as hiring an editor, paying publishing and marketing fees, and covering rent until the book project is completed.

Klenk is surviving on his savings and contributions from friends, but he estimates that his funds will be completely depleted by February. In exchange for donations of $77 USD and up, Klenk is offering contributors a first-edition hardcover copy of his book. He will also include a personalized inscription.
