Because “The Fortunate Nomad” is not just another memoir, Klenk quit his job in October 2013 and relocated to a studio on a quiet island so that he could fully dedicate himself to his project. The first draft of Klenk’s memoir is due to be completed in mid-February and his first manuscript by the end of April 2014. A small publishing house in Australia is willing to publish Klenk’s book in hardcover, softcover, and eBook formats.

At this time, Klenk is accepting donations from people interested in supporting “The Fortunate Nomad” project. His goal is to raise $30,000 by March 3, 2014. The funds will go towards a number of expenses such as hiring an editor, paying publishing and marketing fees, and covering rent until the book project is completed.

Klenk is surviving on his savings and contributions from friends, but he estimates that his funds will be completely depleted by February.
