Stepping Stones to Launch Two New Exhibits on February 2014; Jeffrey Arsenault, Stepping Stones Board Member, Invites Supporters to Attend

Norwalk, CT -- (SBWire) -- 02/03/2014 --Expert and Hedge Fund of Funds manager Jeffrey Arsenault, a member of the Stepping Stones Museum for Children’s Board of Directors, invites the public to attend the launch of two new major exhibits on Friday, February 14, as part of the museum’s Healthy Children, Healthy Communities initiative aimed at promoting healthy living for children, families, and communities.

The award-winning, private non-profit children’s museum will debut Express Yourself, an exhibit focusing on social-emotional learning, and an expanded and updated version of its award-winning Healthyville exhibit. Healthyville previously consisted of a state-wide travelling mini exhibit as well as an on-site exhibit at the museum. It will be re-launched as a travelling exhibit and will remain at Stepping Stones through Labor Day before embarking on a national tour.

Stepping Stones describes Express Yourself as a venue where children, families, and groups can practice self-expression and emotional exploration through art, music, cooperative games, and more. Meanwhile, Healthyville, according to the museum, promises to teach visitors about their bodies, the importance of making good health choices, and the application of these concepts into everyday situations by providing them with a hands-on learning experience.

“All of the museum’s exhibits and programs strive to support the development of ‘21st century skills in children,” says Rhonda Kiest, Executive Director of Stepping Stones Museum for Children, “…these two exhibits are cornerstones of this work.”
