Vancouver, WA -- (SBWire) -- 03/20/2014 --In 2011, Koi Pond Cellars was founded by Wes and Michelle Parker. They pride themselves on providing great wines for their clients, family and friends. What people enjoy most about their visits to Koi Pond Cellars is the hospitality and the delicious wine. Wes and Michelle are certain that once a wine lover visits them, he/she will come back to visit them again.

Wes and Michelle have faced several obstacles since the move to Ridgefield WA. After a lot of effort and appeals to Clark County, they were forced to change the business structure from a "Wine specialty shop" to an actual Winery because of zoning issues.

The duo always wanted to become a Winery so this was actually a blessing in disguise. They are currently finishing up the paperwork to become a Winery in Ridgefield WA. The long and tedious process to become Winery started in May 2013, and they are nearly done with it.

Koi Pond Cellars have leased three buildings on 2.5 acres and the County didn't approve any of the buildings for a Public Wine Tasting room. So, they have to build a new building from scratch. They didn't plan on doing this now and that is why they are doing this Kickstarter program to try and raise funds.

Wes and Michelle are going to open a Public Wine Tasting room at their new location. They hope to be pouring wine for their clients again by spring/summer 2014.

This project will only be funded if at least$35,000 is pledged by Tue, Apr 29 2014 1:30 AM +05:30.
