The eBox brews standard paper filter E.S.E. espresso pods and regular 44mm coffee pods. It automatically discharges eco-friendly pods into a pod collector box, that holds up to 18 coffee or espresso pods. A powerful yet ultra quiet Italian made Ulka 19 bar pump makes eBox capable of maximum coffee extraction. Optimum coffee extraction is also ensured by the 3 second pre-moisten pod feature. Other important features include easy vertical pod-drop, electronic adjustment of coffee selection water temperature from 203°F (95 C) to 221°F (105 C), water tank filter attachment option, and much more.

The vision of the eBOX came about by observing the irresponsibility of certain single serve coffee companies and the assortment of machines they produce that only work with their specifically designed plastic or aluminum pods. Billions of single-serve plastic and aluminum containers are sold every year, resulting in a tremendous amount of harm to our environment. To top it off, even though the plastic used is polypropylene, less-toxic plastic, growing evidence proves that when subjected to heat, all plastics leach chemicals that can interfere with hormonal development. 

After more than three years of conceptualizing, designing and building fully operable prototypes, Podhead.com is ready to move forward and need the funds to do so. 100% of the funds will be used for the tooling costs and the first round of the eBOX machine production.
