Mickey Ellison was born in a small town in South Carolina with the dream of playing professional baseball. That dream died in 1993 when his career at Vanderbilt ended. He chased wealth through network marketing only to be $200k in debt after two years. In 1999 he became a financial planner, and a Certified Financial Planner in 2006.
