The BLITZ brings to the magical City of Rovinj the most prominent and creative dance and theatre artists, performances, workshops, meetings and parties!

Matawan, NJ -- (SBWire) -- 06/12/2014 --Tomas Kutinja and associates are very happy to announce the second edition of the BLITZ International Performing Arts Festival. This year it is running from 4th to 6th September, in its homeland, one of the most fascinating and picturesque spots on the Mediterranean, the City of Rovinj, in Croatia.

In that magical first weekend of September 2014, the BLITZ will bring to the city dance and theatre performances from Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Croatia, as well as creative workshops, meetings with artists and unforgettable parties.

A group of local performing arts professionals, with education in Croatia and abroad in Performing Arts Studies, decides in 2013 to set up a long term festival adventure. The experiment they went through in the first edition confirmed the qualities and the originality of the project in this specific landscape, which gave them motivation to develop further.

This year, they are ready to offer a richer program. The BLITZ modestly grows from two to three days full schedule presenting among others performances for the youngest and an increased number of creative workshops for amateurs and professionals, ranging from movement theatre to scenography.

The contributions on Indiegogo will help cover expenses of international guests and renting technical equipment. Furthermore, contributions will help the organizers promote some of the most exciting Spanish, Swiss, Italian and Croatian performing artists at BLITZ 2014.
