Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 07/02/2014 --Seattle, Washington Native Lands Featured Role in Hollywood Movie. Actress Eva Ceja is in postproduction for her first large feature film titled ‘Monumental’. Eva plays Elizabeth, a girl from New Jersey who befriends Steve, the main character of the movie, who is played by Gary Cairns and helps him along his journey in Monumental.

About Eva Ceja
Classically and musically trained, Eva Ceja has played roles from Shakespeare to Fiddler on the Roof. Eva has worked in Scotland at Edinburgh Fridge Festival, major repertory theaters, local theatre groups, as well as appeared on television and other feature films. She studied in the foundation program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, as well as, Lesly Kahn, and Scott Caan Playhouse West.

At the age of 12, Eva began to study improv and theatre sports at Seattle Children’s Theatre, and eventually at UpRight Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, most notably her first role on HBO’s Hello Ladies and a webisode called “Breakfast Buddies”.

Eva is originally from Seattle, Washington also know as “ The Emerald City”, collects Wizard of Oz memorabilia, studies Muay Thai Martial Arts, speaks Spanish, French, Arabic and loves to read Sherlock Holmes novels aloud in her finest English accent. She currently works with her acting coach Cress Williams. In her spare time you can find Eva volunteering at HollywoodHeart.org along with team playing softball.

Monumental is about two young men journey across the U.S.A to honor one's mother by spreading her ashes at monuments she always dreamed of visiting.
