Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 07/03/2014 --Public House Philly has announced it is transitioning to a new concept to realize its true identity as a City Tap House Logan Square. While the bar enjoyed its time as a Public House and appreciates all the support from its fans, it feels it will better serve the beer connoisseurs and bar goers as a City Tap House. The bar will remain under the Public House USA umbrella and bar goers can still expect the same great beer and food selection and top notch service they always got from the old restaurant, but as the same feel and concept as their flag location in University City.

Morrissey Design will redo the main bar area, which will be spread over two sections, and a 170 seat dining room will provide a spacious setting for lunch and dinner guests. The establishment will invest in a large amount of reclaimed wood, copper and steel accents, and fling-out doors. A new AV system and 18 by 9 foot video wall will provide the best in bar entertainment. With 40 taps, two cask engines, ciders, and a bottle list, the new City Tap House will carry on the great bar legacy in this location.

After the success of the recently opened City Tap House in Washington, DC, the company decided to add another location in Philly. Positioned between the Four Seasons Hotel and the future Comcast Innovation & Technology Center, the new bar will join the other Philadelphia City Tap House in University City in providing center city Philadelphians on the other side of the Schuylkill River with access to the popular eatery.
