Banzeye can help everyone keep optimum distance and posture when using a computer.

Brandon, FL -- (SBWire) -- 07/30/2014 --A lot of people have problems because of computer overuse. They can be manifested by sore or red eyes, neck and back pain, headaches...Most common causes of these problems are improper viewing distances and bad posture.

Banzeye is an electronic indicator of the proper distance a computer user should keep when using various screens and monitors. When a computer user sits too close to a screen, Banzeye recognizes it and immediately notifies the user. As soon as the user leaves the designated area, Banzeye returns the computer to its working state and they can continue using the computer.

By manufacturer specifications, OSHA and AOA recommendations, for any monitor on the market, a minimum of 20 inches (50cm), up to even 36 inches (90cm), of distance is recommended for all users. This covers monitors sizes up to 26".

This information is especially important to know because of children, who often sit too close to computer monitors. Almost all parents have to move their kids away from the computer or TV. Banzeye will help keep children from approaching the monitor or TV, if they want to watch it.

The operation of Banzeye is controlled by a software. It is made to work on WIN, Mac OS and Linux, and supports all types of monitors and laptops. A user can be warned by a photo, video or a sound. The software is very user friendly and flexible. It allows a user to customize Banzeye to their computer or TV.

Banzeye for TV is a modified version of regular Banzeye. It contains a sensor that can "learn" commands from your remote control. It uses those commands in order to affect TV and user behavior if someone is in front of the TV for 5 seconds or more. The difference is in the area Banzeye covers (manufacturer specifications for larger TV's are over 5 feet or 1.5m).

Though Atomic Methods is a start-up company, each of the key persons at Atomic Methods has experience in their field. They are currently working on various Banzeye designs, a smaller version for laptops, as well as character designs for children.

Their funding budget for this project is relatively higher because there are a lot of fixed costs (tools, components, certification, transport...) that cannot be covered by manufacturing a product in smaller orders.

This project will only be funded if at least $165,000 is pledged by Sat, Sep 20 2014 5:30 AM +05:30.
