Melrose, MA -- (SBWire) -- 07/31/2014 --As a former student/instructor of the martial arts with over 35 years of experience, Mark Morrill helped found Fall Safely, Inc. on the guiding principles that certain techniques, when learned and practiced, can help minimize injury from falls.

Using his knowledge of Judo and Aikido while combining it with my military experience, Mark facilitated the integration of these proven methods that can make a critical difference to athletes at every level of sport as well as lay people who just want to know the best way to help themselves prevent an injury should the worst happen.

Athletes at every level – from little league baseball league to the after-hours soccer team to the high school team and straight through to the NHL, NFL and MLB could be better athletes by being more graceful when they fall and flop while preventing life-changing injuries. Fall Safely, Inc. was founded on the fundamental principle that injuries from falls can be substantially minimized with education and training.

Fall Safely, Inc. developed a set of techniques and protocols that, when practiced and properly executed, can limit physical damage from falls and help athletes ‘Remain in the Game! There is no need to waste precious game time sitting on the bench because of an injury which could have been prevented. Fall Safely, Inc. will show the proper techniques for training the body movement, using proper breathing, and controlling the adrenaline surge though the different phases of a fall. It is possible, with their help, to limit the risk of any sports related injury.

All athletes--from professional to semipro to recreational-- can benefit from the Fall Safely, Inc. training.

Mark Morrill has set a funding goal of $10,000 for this project.
