The competitive landscape in analgesics remained quite fragmented during 2013 in Spain, with the leading and second players, Abbott Laboratories and Laboratorios Gelos, accounting for a combined value share of 22%. The main player in 2013, as in the review period, remained Abbott Laboratories, with a value share of 12%. The company led thanks to the popularity of the brand Brufen, a reference brand in the Spanish market.
