Free Educational Programs Offered for Health Care Professionals in CT & FL

Hackensack, NJ -- (SBWire) -- 08/20/2014 --The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC), Nurse Practitioners Alternatives (NPA), and The France Foundation are presenting two live educational forums that will provide up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). AIMS (Advances in Multiple Sclerosis) will take place on Saturday, September 20th, at the Omni New Haven Hotel in New Haven, CT, and Saturday, October 11th, at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, FL. These complimentary half-day sessions (www.cmscscholar.org) will provide neurologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, rehabilitation professionals, and other health care professionals with up-to-date information on the treatment of MS.

- Updates on the Current and Emerging Treatments for Multiple Sclerosis

- An interactive case discussion and questions and answers session are also part of the dynamic agenda.

The AIMS programs are being led by top MS experts:

- Joseph R. Berger, MD (Chair) ?Professor of Neurology and Chief of the MS Division, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;

- Guy J. Buckle, MD?Director of Neuroimaging Research, Shepherd Center, Atlanta, Georgia;

- Marie Namey, RN, MSN, MSCN Clinical Nurse Specialist, Mellen Center for MS Treatment & Research, Cleveland, Ohio;
