Naperville, IL -- (SBWire) -- 08/25/2014 --Reportstack, provider of premium market research reports announces the addition of Statistics: trends in global and regional man-made fibre production market report to its offering

This report includes statistical data and analysis of global and regional man-made fibre production broken down into several types of synthetic and cellulosic fibres. The report also includes detailed forecasts of man-made fibre capacities to the end of 2015 by fibre type, country and region, as well as an outlook for man-made fibre production. World fibre demand increased for the fifth year in succession in 2013 to a record high. The increase was due entirely to a rise in man-made fibre production. The rise reflected primarily an increase in polyester filament yarn production, although increases were recorded in production of almost all the main fibre types -- the only exception being cellulosic filament yarn. Geographically, much of the growth in production took place in China, although there was also substantial growth elsewhere in Asia. Furthermore, almost all of the forecast man-made fibre capacity expansion between March 2014 and December 2015 will take place in China and India.
