Boston, MA -- (SBWire) -- 10/03/2014 --Parents looking for quiet nighttime kids’ activities now have something special to turn to. Kids Yoga Stories recently announced the release of Good Night, Animal World Yoga Cards as a companion to the kids yoga book of the same name. The early response from both kids and parents has been incredibly positive.

More and more people agree every day: yoga is a fun, healthy, and energizing activity for children as well as adults. No one has embraced this idea more passionately than the team behind Kids Yoga Stories. The illustrated kids yoga books tell thoughtful and entertaining children’s stories that encourage readers to be more active. Recently, Kids Yoga Stories announced the release of their latest product: Good Night, Animal World Yoga Cards, a card set companion to their popular storybook Good Night, Animal World . The cards provide a fun quiet nighttime activity for children. The response to the new card set has been absolutely passionate:

“We are always brainstorming new yoga-related activities parents and children can share together,” says author Giselle Shardlow. “Yoga cards are a calming medium for younger children to enjoy yoga poses in a simple and fun way! This fits perfectly with our vision of combining movement with stories that thoroughly engage children as they laugh, express themselves, and stretch their imaginations.”

The yoga cards set allows children to match calming yoga poses with their animal picture. The yoga cards are intended for toddlers to preschool students from ages 2 to 5 years old. While they can be enjoyed by themselves, they are even more enjoyable when complementing the fun children’s yoga story Good Night, Animal World.

The deck is illustrated by Emily Gedzyk.

Parents have found the card set to be a wonderful nighttime activity. Emily P. says, “My preschooler can often be something of a challenge to get to bed. Now he loves his yoga cards, and the poses really work on calming him down. What a wonderful idea. Fully recommended!”
