Grenoble, France -- (SBWire) -- 10/08/2014 --Last year Mr. Kang discovered a group of singers and was horrified to learn how record labels mistreated and even cheated them. Then and there he decided to start his own music company to give underprivileged singers in India, predominantly Punjab, a chance to succeed by providing fair funding and the know-how they need to leverage their talent and make their own way in the music business.

The first singer Mr. Kang took under his own wing was done at his own expense in helping him with audio and visual productions then finally helping him enter the music industry. This led to several other talented singers getting in contact with Gurpreet seeking his help leading him to conclude he needed more financial resources to help make their dreams come true too.

That led Mr. Kang to turn to crowdfunding. “This project is a perfect combination of social work and business opportunities. Punjabi music industry in India is a billion dollar industry but it requires a lot of financial investments in order to launch a singer in the industry.

However, once launched, it has a very big potential of making huge profits for singers as well as anybody wanting to be a part of this business.”

Gurpreet is not new to such kind of social work. He started a scholarship fund for less privileged students in India last year which has already helped more than 20 students.

Potential backers of this crowdfunding campaign are encouraged to get involved at a level they’re comfortable with. At lower levels backers can feel good knowing they changed the lives of talent people who would otherwise find themselves exploited by a heartless industry while at higher levels, backers actually become investors and can share in the rewards in this new shift in the music industry that’s more equitable to the singer while still being very lucrative to the investor.

This crowdfunding campaign ends on October 31, 2014.
