The leading brand in air care in 2013 was SC Johnson & Son (M) Sdn?s Glade with sales of RM32 million. This was followed by Procter & Gamble (M) Sdn?s Ambi Pur/Febreze at RM31 million. In company terms, Procter & Gamble (M) Sdn held the largest value share of 45% within air care in 2013. It can be greatly attributed to its strong brand awareness and enhanced brand loyalty. This was followed by SC Johnson & Son (M) Sdn with a 25% value share. The second place of Procter & Gamble (M) Sdn was achieved through also owning Ambi Pur, which ranked third with sales of RM26 million. Hence, the combination of both brands, with their enhanced brand recognition, secured the strong position of Procter & Gamble (M) Sdn.
