Lora Harlen Seeks $300,000 in Crowdfunding via Indiegogo for a Tribute to Bruce Harlen: Retrogamer

Bruce Harlen's amazing art is a viable legacy for his children and features a game, book, and doll!

Matawan, NJ -- (SBWire) -- 10/17/2014 --You may not have heard of the late great Bruce Harlen before, but he was legendary to his friends, family and fans. Bruce worked for many years as a barista in Auckland New Zealand. A popular, handsome and spirited guy, the dollars flowing into the till would often go up when Bruce was on duty. The Bruce Harlen: Retrogamer Legacy Project memorializes his awesome coffee "foam" art, as well as his incredible attention to detail in the designs and illustrations he typically drew on the bus to work. Readers will be charmed by The Brulo Love Legacy Book, an “afterlife collaboration” between Bruce and his wife Lora, featuring texts, photography, illustrations, poetry and stories that detail a once-in-a-lifetime passionate romance.

Another fun interactive activity designed by Bruce the amazing mazes he created to entertain the three lil' monsters he loved the most: his children Ruby, Ari and Nina. A gamer in his teens, he was known for finding the "glitch" in any game, spinning the win to walk away with all the points, winning hearts and minds with his romantic chivalry and genuine love for people.

Bruce had wanted his Bibibot character to be developed into a game for kids about the importance of setting a worthy goal. He created the framework for an open-ended game that allowed kids to determine their own goals and then share them and get feedback from their peers. Imagine how much it means to have a worthy goal and how this can help kids as they wade through all the information and entertainment of everyday life!

About Bruce Harlen
Bruce died suddenly on July 6th 2014, while on his honeymoon. Crowdfunding is sought to establish a viable inheritance for his three children by sharing Bruce’s largely undiscovered talent with the world. If their crowdfunding goal is exceeded, all extra funds will go into the development of a computer game for kids featuring Bruce's beloved Bibibot character. Based on Bruce's storyboards, drawings and script notes, Bibi the Bot has been born into the virtual world by the reknowned digital sculptor Arcebus. She already has taken on a life of her own!

Everyone is encouraged to get involved at any level and help this devoted team get the ball rolling and develop the Harlen Comic Kingdom for the benefit of people all over the world.

This crowdfunding campaign ends December 11, 2014
