Atlanta Industrial Design Team Seeks $40,000 in Crowdfunding via Indiegogo for WatchDock: Versatile Charging for the Upcoming Apple Watch

WatchDock is a Charging Solution for the Apple Watch Due in Early 2015.

Atlanta, GA -- (SBWire) -- 10/17/2014 --Apple Watch will be available in early 2015 and this dynamic design team created a charging solution that compliments this new advance in wearable technology perfectly as it provides flexibility in how this elegant new marvel in timekeeping is displayed. WatchDock can be placed on a desk, nightstand or any flat surface. The WatchDock rotates to allow viewing of Apple Watch from any angle. Apple Watch owners can easily remove the pedestal base and plug the WatchDock directly into a wall outlet for fast and easy charging without being fancy.

WatchDock uses the existing Apple USB plug to provide power to the inductive recharging disc that magnetically connects to the Apple Watch. In desktop usage, the cord exits the base and allows users to plug the USB cord into the desired outlet.

Hassle-free operation is the order of the day; for wall-mounted charging all anyone has to do is remove the pedestal base from the WatchDock. Any extra length of USB cord is stored in the housing itself. The USB plug securely snaps into the pivot arm allowing WatchDock to be plugged into any wall outlet. This incredible range of flexibility makes WatchDock the ultimate Apple Watch accessory.
