Students can now enroll for hosting workshops, which are led by Suzanne Sena and Shannon O’Dowd

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 11/13/2014 --Hosts have always been in high-demand – and now the success of The Daily Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ellen, and other network shows have many actors interested in becoming hosts.

Now students can refine and sharpen their hosting skills with new Hosting Workshops at Carolyne Barry’s TV & Film Actor Workshops. National news anchors and hosts Suzanna Sena and Shannon O’Dowd will lead students through three Hosting workshops, as well as one Hosting Reel Intensive series.

“Students who are interested in having their own talk shows, news shows, cable shows, web series, or even late-night shows can learn significant skills and strategies from Sena and O’Dowd,” says master talent teacher Carolyne Barry. “Students can expect to learn audition skills, booking techniques, how to interact with audiences, and even improv skills.

Classes are broken up into three levels with one hosting reel intensive series. Classes are arranged by experience, with limited space available in each class. Students can only take the hosting reel intensive class after completing all three of the levels in the series.
