Saraswatichandra Bollywood Star Guatam Rode Finally Takes a Break from Work

New Delhi, India -- (SBWire) -- 12/16/2014 --After a successful final episode of the Indian soap opera Saraswatichandra on September 20, 2014, Bollywood Actor Guatam Rode said he will be taking a break from work. The handsome and talented actor who starred as Saras is currently in Kerala trying to internalize his role for a new character for another upcoming soap opera.

Bollywood fans need not worry of not seeing the handsome star in action because he would still have numerous TV projects in line after the spectacular journey he had with being a part of the said high-rated soap.

According to Guatam, Saraswatichandra opened his horizons to show business. "My journey has been great and spectacular. Being a part of this show for two years, it has given me everything. Frankly, before this I was a nobody, but Saraswatichandra has made me famous and popular. So yes the journey has been enriching."

Guatam even mentioned that among the cast and crew, he will definitely miss Maai (Ragini Shah). He also mentioned that the toughest and most difficult scene he had with Saraswatichandra is the moment when the character Saras was trying to remember his moments and remember his mother and missing her. It was very challenging for him to bring up that kind of emotion and pain on the scene. He considers it as the most emotionally draining part, but he enjoyed every bit of it. He also mentioned about the other physically difficult sequences on the soap opera which he also enjoyed.

Saraswatichandra has a very good and thick plot which engaged more and more televiewers until it reached its final episode on September 20, 2014. The show, which was originally produced by Sanjay LeelaBhansali was based on a popular Gujrati novel with the same title. People loved the chemistry of Jennifer Winget and Gautam Rode on the soap opera which made it last for two years.
