About Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis is a subtype of spondylarthropathy. The primary symptoms of the disease are inflammatory spinal pain with subsequent limitation of spine mobility and chest expansion. Ankylosing spondylitis is hereditary in nature.
