New blog for lawyers invites attorneys to write about topics they have expertise on

Riverton, UT -- (SBWire) -- 01/09/2015 --Attorneys who want to increase their online presence and reputation but don't want to maintain their own blog can contribute to a new blog, http://TheBloggingLawyers.com.

"Blogs are a great way to build a brand and work an online reputation," said Tyson Downs, the creative force behind the new blog. "But, it also takes work and consistency. Readers want to have regular and fresh content. Lawyers don't always have the time to update their blog a few times a week. Now, they don't have to."

The Blogging Lawyers is looking for attorneys who want to share their expertise as often as they like through a blog. The blogs are aimed at the general public and so need to be written for lay people. Lawyers can submit one or more blog posts and can submit as often as they like, providing they meet the stringent quality guidelines.

Mr. Downs said this way an attorney can get his name in front of potential clients without having to significantly invest in a personal website.

Downs stated he's been contact by numerous marketing firms wanting to know if the could submit blog posts on behalf of their clients. "The answer to that is yes," states Downs, providing the blog posts meet the quality guidelines in place.

"This is not going to be a substitute for legal advice. It's going to be a resource for more information," Mr. Downs said. "Each blog will have the author's contact information. Readers who need more information can call the attorney's office."

So far, six categories are up for the new blog site, but more can be added as needed.

"We want lawyers who specialize and those who are general practice. Most importantly, we need lawyers who can write quality articles of at least 500 words which are easy to understand," he said. "Legal terminology has to be explained if it's used. In fact, that's a good idea for a blog - common legal terms and what they mean."

The new site has very strict requirements including all content must be 100% unique, and sources must be references, and the quality of the articles must be 'top notch'.
